Sinusitis Bethesda: History and Physical Examinations

How can sinus problems be treated?

The body is a self-healing organism is one of healthcare's most fundamental principles. We're always reminded of this fact with both illness and injury. Long before you became a sinus sufferer, whenever you got a cold, no matter how severe, it was usually completely gone within a week. And if you've ever had the misfortune of breaking a bone or had a severe sprain, the injured part was usually placed in a cast, splinted, braced, or you used crutches, and were instructed to not use it for several weeks (6 weeks if it's a broken weight-bearing bone). In most cases, the injury is completely healed after the recommended period of inactivity.

The most common symptoms of chronic sinusitis are the manifestation of a swollen mucous membrane lining your nose. Your body is capable of healing all these problems and pains however the sad fact is that we are being challenged on how to deal with it because it doesn't stop totally. As long as we are breathing 20, 000 times in a day with our nose, the air moves around through our nasal passages and we cannot help it.

Knowing that your mucous membrane is always at work filtering, humidifying, and regulating the temperature of the air you breathe in order to protect the lungs, your next step in helping to heal it by reducing inflammation is to provide your nose and sinuses with clean, moist (between 35 and 55% relative humidity), and warm (between 65 and 85° F.) air. In most homes, specifically over the winter months, this too may be a challenge. Adding to the problem is the truth that some of the world's cities are plagued with contaminated air. Your function is to breathe "healing" air, rather than irritating or inflaming air, to the best of your ability without having to move to a tropical island.

A medicinal cream or ointment is simple to put on in every areas of our skin however the mucous membrane may be a different case. Our skin providing the lining for the nose, sinuses and lungs is actually difficult to reach. This is the reason why I have created helpful products that may reduce your suffering.

A.         Sinus Survival Spray - aids to replenish and moisten the sinuses
B.         Sinus Essentials - has a mixture of peppermint oil and jojoba oil. It works as a personal warm vaporizer to relieve sinus congestion. It is more advantageous especially when applying the spray.
C.         Sinus Survival Essential Oils - water soluble that is best for steamers. I used to apply this every morning when I breathe-in steam from the steamer. It is a best relief for congestion.

Some kind of fungal sinus problems caused from the over growing of candida or yeast organism is regarded as the common reason behind chronic sinusitis. Since it is a normal inhabitant in the body and even thrives on sugar, it is actually difficult to manage. However, a tight candida-control diet is a great benefit.

The challenges which most sinus victims encounter are well mentioned. These explain the reason why chronic sinusitis is considered as the most typical respiratory problem in the world. Our body has the power of healing it but it is not an easy problem to manage. A help is required from you. Sinus Survival Program has come up with effective solutions to conquer this condition.
